Obiano rejects extension for Chairmen of 21 local government areas, set to appoint Transition committees reports that millions are exchanging hands to coarse members of the state House of Assembly, commissioners and political horse traders close to Governor Willie Obiano to accept an extension for the council chairmen in 21 local government for another one year.

But Obiano shocked the chairmen as he rejected their advances though he was not that resolute during an earlier meeting but after considering their stand decided to institute a Caretaker committee for the local government areas as their tenure expires this December 2015.

There was no preparation by dead ANSIEC so to speak to conduct another election as their tenure ends while too many advisers have encouraged the Governor to appoint caretaker committees...............
Meanwhile Councillors have been approved a culvert each by the state as a way to appease them approve the 2015 local government budget which was not done before now.................
Details later
