The Chairman of Kogi State chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Mr. Ocholi Ameh, has been suspended for anti-party activities.

In a letter of suspension by the State Executive Council of the party, which was signed by the Secretary Ben I. Nweke, Financial Secretary, Nasiru Abdulrahaman; Organising Secretary, Isah ýAlhaji K. Yakubu; Woman Leader, Mrs. Abesedě Oluyori and others, they resolved to suspend him based on his alleged ‘gullibility’ to have diverted money meant for the party’s election rally for personal use.

The members of the executives, in a statement that was made available to Journalists, said he indulged in this to ensure the programme did not hold because he never wanted the party to fly.

The statement stated read, “APGA wanted to flag off and the money earmarked for the program which he pocketed and the program could not hold because he was using the party for his personal aggrandisement and he has been into some clandestine moves with other parties that is one of the issues.

“Another issue is that he has not been showing up for the activities of the party which are all inimical ýto the survival of the party. And have been working with the opposition, people that are working against the party.”
