Nigeria U-23 Team Escapes Plane Crash As Flight Makes Emergency Landing

The flight conveying the Nigeria U-23 team, the Dream Team, to Gambia reportedly escaped crash on Sunday, November 15, 2015 after the pilot made an emergency landing in Accra, Ghana.
According to, a senior official of the team who spoke on the issue disclosed that the team may likely leave Accra later in the evening of same day pending on alternative plans by the Nigeria Football Federation.
The Dream team decided to train in Gambia under the tutelage of Samson Siasia ahead of the African U-23 Championship scheduled to hold in Senegal after the initial trip to Morocco suffered visa hitches.
