Anambra State Signage And Advertisement Agency Complements Gov. Willie Obiano's Work
With the rate of incessant advertising without signage cum advertising fee been paid by many people in the state, the Anambra Signage and Advertisement Agency (ANSAA) has taking charge on Gov. Willie Obiano's bid to increase the internally generated revenue by making the necessary enforcement.
According to the Managing Director of the Agency, Jude Emecheta, the Executive Governor of Anambra state Dr. Willie Obiano has thrown his support on Anambra Signage and Advertisement Agency and has aided them to do a thorough work towards restoring sanity to Anambra cities and also beautifying them.
Following the installation of LED bill boards in some parts of the state, the governor has backed up the agency to identify and remove every dilapidated and abandoned (not in use) billboards in the state.
Today, at Owerri road, by upper Iweka axis, the agency embarked on dismantling of abandoned/dilapidated billboards which has not only occupied space for people ready to pay for their advertisement, but has also prevented the area from benefiting from the recent beautification going on in the state.
Whilst the governor has empowered the agency to beautify the state with good LED billboards, they have also complemented it by contributing in the increase of the internally generated revenue of the state through documented and efficient collection of outdoor advertisement and signage fees.
