REVEALED: Van Gaal Tendered Resignation During Board Meeting
Embattled Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal tendered his resignation to the club’s board during a meeting with club officials last week.
The 64-year-old’s position in the club has been under threat as his side have been unable to record a win in their last seven games.
The Independent has now revealed that the Dutch manager offered to leave the club during a meeting with United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward last week. Woodward however assured him of his position at the club while assuring him that the club wanted to stick with him for as long as possible.
