Fani-Kayode reports at EFCC office over $115 million bribe

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has reported to the Abuja headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Naij.com can authoritatively report.

Fani Kayode who was the spokesperson of the Goodluck  Jonathan campaign Organization was officially invited by EFCC after the anti-graft agency claimed that he has gone into hiding is expected to explain his role in the $115 million bribe election bribe reportedly dispensed by the immediate past minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

Sources within the commission said Fani-Kayode is being grilled at main interrogation room of the commission known as Idiagbon House.

FFK as he fondly called was rated “the chief beneficiary” of the disbursement of the slush funds as he allegedly received N840million, paid in three tranches into his Zenith Bank, Maitama branch account with No.1004735721. At the EFCC headquarters with FFK is Peoples Democratic Party social media director, Adeyanju Deji, Fani Kayode’s lawyers and a few supporters.

Earlier today, Fani-Kayode on his Facebook page told EFCC that he is not a thief.
