Shehu Sani indicts Buhari’s cabinet for corruption

Senator representing Kaduna central Shehu Sani has claimed that there is corruption in President Buhari’s cabinet 

Sani lamented the corruption in the legislature and the judiciary and wondered how the three institutions of government have now gone now neck-deep into corruption 

Sani also warned President Buhari not to shun the rule of law in his war against corruption which is also eating up his cabinet


Just as Department of State Service (DSS) raided the homes of allegedly corrupt judges at the weekend, controversial senator Shehu Sani has pointed at corruption in President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.

In a short statement on his Facebook page, Sani lamented the fact that even as President Buhari is at war with corruption, grafts have emerged as mountains in both the President’s cabinet, the judiciary and the legislature.

In related vein, Sani made known his position on the DSS raids of the home of judges at the weekend by warning the president against rejection of the rule of law in his war against the corruption.

Meanwhile, sources within the DSS have revealed that the implemented Bank Verification Number (BVN) was responsible for its operative to trace several millions to alleged corrupt judges who are currently in its custody.

 Recall that seven judges- Justice Inyang Okoro and Sylvester Ngwuta of the Supreme Court; Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court, Abuja; Kabir Auta of the Kano High Court; Muazu Pindiga of Gombe High Court, Mohammed Tsamiya of the Court of Appeal in Ilorin, and the Chief Judge of Enugu State, I. A. Umezulike- have been arrested and currently in detention at the SSS office.
